• Provides fundamentals of veterinary parasitology
    • Helps in understanding pathogenesis and control of important animal parasitic diseases
    • Presents taxonomy, bionomics of animal parasites and their interaction with host

This textbook for graduate students imparts knowledge on parasites of veterinary significance. It provides a basic understanding of taxonomy, morphology, life cycle, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and control strategies against important helminthic, protozoan and arthropod parasites of animals. The book also presents the useful information on the host-parasite interactions, host response, immune regulation, the impact of nutrition on the host immunity, and immune evasion by the parasite.

This textbook is an essential reference for veterinary graduates, providing up-to-date resources on diagnosis, treatment, and controlling essential parasites of animals.
